Chinese society camp 8.6.10-9.6.10

The chinese camp ended yesterday,awww i miss it already, brings back good memories :)
what made it special is me and my friends sign up to be AJKs

let's start from the two days before camp, we have to go to school to prepare for camp.

the souvenir! don't trow it away >:(

me and marcus kept on going shopping together. first Ikano then 1utama to buy and find things.

random enough, we went in straight to Ikano's bird park LOL

yeah so came back school learn dances do souvenir, meeting blah blah

8th of June, it's camp alreadyyy ! yay registration counter :D

so went ceramah while others went to do bitter gourd juice

lol i no need to drink yay! instead i look at everyone's disgusted expressions :D MUAHAHAHA EVILLL

some AJK went to add lychee in it, who is the lucky one? ;)

so the amazing race started, but i went to make tangyuan without the 'tang' ! believe it or not, is my first time eating/making tangyuan, guess i don't really like chinese food, until now :)

don't worry, we washed our hands in Aiken :)

after tang yuan is ceramah again then the K-night thing and tangyuan eating and light candle

after all that, we play with liquid candle wax :D

when marcus touched the hot wax, he spun in circles. hahaa damn priceless! :DD

sleeping time!! others slept in bilik muzik and AV room but some of us slept in a classroom!

i guess i don't really like sleeping in bilik muzik, too cold and i never slept in a classroom before!

we went there at 8am but the mall and shop open at 10am !!

we waited there for TWO WHOLE HOURS :D

nahhh it was fun :) we went to the rainforest

and the mall was dark and those escalators were not moving >:(

WE CONQUERED 1U :D and we slept there too

At 10 am the shop finally opens, but after 2 hours only they can give to us.

so we came back school and later someone go there again lol so convenient

ceramah again then last lunch

after that do the chair game and show the short clip and give souvenir

and finally bye bye!

FINALLY :) suffering since 27th January 2008, on 22nd April 2010 I'm freee!
NO MORE
-trips to the dentist and wait for hours
-the aching pain from my mouth which causes headache
-wires cutting my flesh and tongue
-chewing gum is forbidden (didn't chew a single gum since form 1, sad right? :( )
-food stuck in teeth
-scary and random surprises
-spending lots and lots of money
-missing out on delicious dishes

I never felt so relieved and carefree in my life

Today I went to Taman Tun's KFC to have lunch. On the same block, there is some frozen yogurt shop called tutti frutti where always got people. So I went there and try :)

First you get a cup

Then you choose your yogurt flavor. There is original, chocolate, passion fruit, berry, blueberry and vanilla. After that, chose your toppings from a wide selection of fruits and dessert. The price depends on the weigh of your dessert.

had CNY celebration held in school, I was depressed that I have to sit far back so can't see the performance but puan loh asked me and Stephanie to help with stuff so we get to linger infront of the tapak perhimpunan hahaa. Later need to go back class like a usual school day, but no teacher was teaching, so I followed 3 teratai to do kerja kayu but I was not alone :)

Why I Like It Longer

"Look mommy, a big car!" I shouted as I was nudging my mother.

"That's a truck ,Anna." answered my mother while smoothing my hair.

Hey, how am I supposed to know? I was only four that time .And you should know my gender now by the name "Anna". Anyway back to the story, the big truck made a complete stop outside my house, blocking the ray of sunlight. Then a couple around their mid 20s came out and took a look at the house next to ours, followed by a small girl. The couple smiled warmly at me ,my mother and not to mention my topless father washing the car.

"Hello, you must be our new neighbor." my mother said cheerfully as she greeted the couple.

My mother and father continue their "adult talk" with the couple, leaving the small girl and I alone. I took a closer look at the small girl, she has jet black hair which were past shoulders, big eyes and pale skin.

"Good that we are neighbors. By the way, I'm Samantha and this is my husband, Eric." she said and took a glance at the small girl,which I assume is their daughter. "Oh and here's my darling daughter, Kimberly, she's four this year and enrolling to the kindergarten down the street in one month's time."

" Oh really?same as my Anna too. I'm guessing their going to be best friends!" my mother said confidently.

My mother's predictions was right, Kimberly and I were best friends ever since. We went to kindergarten together, sat next to each other, shared our delicious, lips-smacking lunches and went back home to have our play dates. We stick to each other so much, that even our teachers and classmates asked weather we were twins, for I too have jet black hair, almost the same length as Kimberly, almost the same height, but my skin tone was darker than her's.

I had lots of fun with Kimberly, Kim for short in kindergarten. Now is time to further my studies and go to primary school. Again, Kim and I went to the same primary school, but unfortunately we were not classmates.

            The first day of primary school, Kim's parents and my parents accompanied us to school.I was scared and nervous, will people hate me? will I able to make friends? I walked nervously into my classroom, many were eying towards me. Little did I know, a cheerful girl waved at me and pointed to the seat next to her's, she's Jane, my new best friend.

             By recess, I already had a circle of friends, I was so happy. This continued throughout the whole year, by the end of it, I became "miss popular". How's Kim then? She got her own friends too. I don't really have to worry about her being alone. Kim and I aren't really distant friends now, we were just not as close as last time.

            Time flies, in a blink of the eye, I'm 10 years old already.I don't meant to boast but, that time I was attractive, brainy ,popular, very active ,artistic and athletic ,I had won so many trophy that my parents had to buy a trophy case just for me ! Many students were dying to be my friend.

            Two years passed, I went to a shopping center to celebrate my 12th birthday with a bunch of my "popular" friends. It was really hard to decide who to invite, because while I was deciding, many people were impressing me to invite them. I invited my close friends including Kim, see? I did not abandon her. Unfortunately, she can't go as she had a appointment with her doctor. I had a blast and celebrated my birthday for 7 hours with over 100 photos awaiting to show off in facebook, but it somehow doesn't feel complete without Kim.

            After my birthday, Kim seems very quiet all the time. I asked her whats wrong, but she said everytime was fine. I, her closest friend , did not think that everything was fine.

            In the Chinese New Year holiday, I went to my hometown, Sabah. When I came back, I was starting to gain suspicion towards Kim, she was absent from days to weeks. The problem is she's not staying at home but in the hospital. I tried to scoop something out from my mother and father but they didn't know either. I can't talk to Kim's parents, because they went to the hospital to accompany Kim. Suddenly, a alternative appear to me, I could call Kim's parents ! Why can't I think of this before? I excitedly took my mother's phone and found Kim's mother on the contact list, I pressed call and waited patiently.

               Kim's mother answered, I asked her how's Kim and there's a long awkward silent that gives me a bad feeling.

               "Kim died." she replied and sobs quietly.

               I hold on the phone tightly, I was so shocked that I was shivering. I couldn't believe my ears.

               "Since when?" I asked.

               " A few minutes before you call." she said and cried loudly.

               My parent's and I drove to the hospital and reached there in 10 seconds flat. Kim had excessive white blood cells in her body since she was born, this disease is dangerous and can be lead to death.

   While I was going though her belongings, I found her diary and remembered that she loves writing. One unexpected moment, I flipped open her diary and read her entries.She wrote:

Dear diary, I'm worried I'd give everyone burden with this disease, especially Anna and my parents. I don't know what will happen next, I'm scared.

If I've known this earlier, I will give her my full support. But instead she worried that she will give me burden. I miss Kim,her quiet nature, her kindness, her generosity,her company and very more that can't be described in words.I would trade everything to spend one day with her, like our childhood. Why I like it longer? I want her to live longer and continue to be my best friend, be there by my side. I regretted for not appreciating the time we spend together. We have to precious the time spend with our loved ones.

Today i stayed back for red house deco with Yu Ting, Hannah, Rachel and Marcus
went Ikea to have lunch and the kind-hearted Ikea staffs let us take some cardboard for free !
went to the top floor to do deco stuff, very hot and stuffy there
then since we have to use water, we went to the top floor teacher's toilet
we went in the girl's toilet because the boy's one is locked

suddenly Marcus was like:" there's a person's head there !"

it was a joke of course but then Yu Ting screamed and made everyone screamed too
that we rushed out the toilet
omg i laughed til my stomach hurts ;D
u know me, once i start i can't stop
we went the the toilet quite a number of times to wash brush
screaming "kiri,kanan,kiri" on the top of our lungs while walking there and back
joking non-stop

today by right was the funnest day :)
friends are there to bring out the sunshine after the gloomy dark times ;D

Chinese competition

Went to Dewan MCA for competition today ,With a big group of 40+ppl
First time going to a competition like this
Such great experience :)like a huge group outing
I originally signed up for ink and wash painting
But my blur-ness lead me to sign up for calligraphy too :P
Have to do both for 1hour and a half which I failed to do it
During lunch time walked to Mcdonalds
Went home with 2 certificates eventhough no time to do calligraphy lol (sshhh....)
The 2 certificates are exactly the same anyway

After it finished, went OU with grandmother
went in pet shop for fun, a worker brought out a hyperactive dog
and the dog bite my leg with it's deadly sharp teeth ,ouch
left a mark, gosh i hate dogs now

telematch was pure torture

amazing race was tiring
all we did was *run* * find find * *run more*

tapak perhimpunan obstacle was so-so
the AJK was sprinkling flour everywhere
strong scent of flour was everywhere ...yuck

the padang game was worse!!
we have to crawl under tables and strings
and have flour+water in the hands of the AJKs
flour+water= disgusting sticky dough
you know what happens next...

on the solid pavement of the padang
there's another game where the winners
have to throw flour+water to the losers
the flour+water mostly end up on the ground
and we stepped on it multiple times before

torturing but good experience :D
been there for .... 11 HOURS !!!!!!
yeah, survivor :)

there are alot of "dough" in the padang and tapak perhimpunan
later the hot blazing sun will be the "oven" and "bake" the dough
plus, the salty rain water will add flavor to the bread
next year when we come back there will be free bread for us
yay :D just kidding

that green cow over there is freaking me out
i wonder what will it produce ?
seaweed milk??
since the pink cow produce strawberry milk
while the brown one produce chocolate milk
surprisingly i do not have any normal cow that produce normal milk...
the green cow is definitely one of a kind :) and expensive too !
i wonder will there be a green cow in the future
and we will be drinking it's milk

After seeing lots of people transformed magically using photoshop
I tried to transform myself too :)

AFTER

not bad :)
- small nose
- no eye bags
- mole disappeared!!
- a lil' bit of cheekbones
